I discovered the beautiful desert town of Palm Springs on a recent California trip and spent a week there in the sunshine. Palm Springs is a little under two hours from Los Angeles and has a great downtown area with plenty of places to eat and drink. There’s plenty to see and do in the area and when I wasn’t soaking up the sunshine, I took day trips to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and the Joshua Tree National Park.
