It’s three years since I was last in New York. Its a destination I visited frequently prior to the Covid 19 Pandemic. I was keen to see how the city had changed.

So the latest edition of the Beyond The Boardwalk podcast, I back to New York for a weekend of shopping, sightseeing and to visit an iconic Manhattan hotel, The Knickerbocker Hotel in Times Square.

I caught up with the Knickerbocker’s Director of sales and Marketing, Laila DeMesme to find out more about the hotel and how the Martini drink was born in Times Square.
